As an Actor, you will be interacting with guests throughout their journey. Seeking volunteers who are energetic, reliable, creative, and of course, not afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.

This role requires training for Eichhorn Experience 2024. We are incorporating new effects and automated equipment that could potentially be dangerous to work around without proper knowledge of the equipment.

Who You are

  • Seeking candidates with strong voices and good acting capabilities

  • Must be in good health to act

  • Must be able to work in demanding conditions which may include without limitation; moving floors, moving rooms, fog, foul language, touching, dizziness, loud noises, claustrophobia, mature themes, automated equipment, water, strobe lights, lasers, engaging in physical, emotional, and strenuous, possibly dangerous activities

The Technical Stuff

  • Embodying the Character: Bring your assigned character to life with dedication and enthusiasm. Make sure you fully understand the role you're playing.

  • Timing and Pacing: Perfect the art of timing and pacing to create suspense and deliver scares effectively. This includes knowing when to strike and when to lay low.

  • Consistency: Maintain consistency in your scares and character portrayal throughout the night. Guests should have a consistent level of intensity from start to finish.

  • Safety Awareness: Prioritize safety at all times. Be aware of your surroundings and avoid any actions that could harm guests or yourself.

  • Props and Costumes: Familiarize yourself with the props and costumes associated with your character. Ensure they are used effectively and safely.

  • Improvisation: Be prepared for unexpected interactions with guests. Quick thinking and improvisation can make the experience even more immersive.

  • Respect for Boundaries: Respect guests' personal boundaries. Never touch or get too close to them, and be mindful of individual comfort levels.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other scare actors and staff to create a cohesive and coordinated experience. Effective teamwork enhances the overall effect.

  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while in character. This includes punctuality and adhering to our code of conduct.

  • Guest Interaction: While your main role is to scare, you may have brief interactions with guests (outside of scares). Be friendly and responsive when approached outside of scares.

  • Vocal: If it applies to your role, you may make frightening noises to scare guests. Don't be afraid to be loud. Using your voice will enhance the guest's experience.
